In order to be coordinated in this big project between Italy, Sweeden and Spain and 15 organisations with three different profiles: public administration, universities and the third sector; the global Answer Team has devoloped a Glosary on good practices in the field of social work and human mobility in order to maintain and to bring into aligment all the work that is being carried out by the different institution that are working in this project.
This glossary on good practices in the field of social work and human mobility is the result of collaborative efforts from all partners and contributors, led by the main researcher of the Global-ANSWER European Project and the coordinators of this initiativ.
The Glossary not merely tackling specific technical terms related to social work and human mobility, it has also endeavored to establish correlations among various definitions. It illustrates the interconnectedness of social work involvement with the intricacies of the migration journey and emphasizes the vital role a comprehensive grasp of these terms plays in confronting the obstacles encountered by individuals in transit.
As well as this, the project also has a Guide on conceptual and methodological issues in social work research in the field of human mobility, the guide reflects the outcomes of workshops and meetings held during the project, leading to the establishment of a common language through a glossary. It includes a provisional definition of good practices, subsequently validated through internal network feedback.
This guide, more than an empirical exercise, aspires to demonstrate how professional intervention secures the social rights of migrants through consistent, aware, conscious, and sustainable practices. The Global-ANSWER Network anticipates that this comprehensive resource will contribute to a better-informed approach to migrations and further the goals of the Horizon 2020 Programme.
