Tuesday 8 April 2025, a meeting will be held at the Municipality of Empoli, dedicated to the reception and care of vulnerable individuals in the Empolese Valdelsa District.
The event is organized as part of the project "Global social work and human mobility: comparative studies on local government and good social work practices in the Euro-Mediterranean region" (Global-ANSWER) and is locally coordinated by the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Florence.
The aim of the meeting is to foster the exchange of good practices through interventions focused on the structure, organization, and functions of the Social and Socio-Assistance Service of the Empolese Valdelsa SDS, integrated reception and social inclusion pathways, and the SAI network (Reception and Integration System).
International partners will also be present, including members of the Family Treatment Team from the Municipality of Granada and the Fundación Bayt Al-Thaqafa.
