María Stella Rognoni

 

Maria Stella Rognoni is a distinguished scholar with a tenure as a Researcher and Lecturer specializing in the History and Institutions of Africa at the esteemed Department of Political and Social Science, Università degli Studi di Firenze. Her academic prowess is exemplified by her attainment of the National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in March 2014.

 

Maria Stella Rognoni has delved into comprehensive studies, focusing on the bipolar confrontation in India and Africa, as well as the intricate decolonization processes. Currently, her research is centered on the international relations of contemporary Africa, with a keen emphasis on the roles played by international organizations and the dynamics of relationships between African States and 'emerging' powers.
