  • Valentina Faggiani. She is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Granada. She is the project manager of the Jean Monnet Module EuJustref “Challenges to justice in the EU: perspectives for reform”. Her main lines of research are: European Constitutional Law, Public comparative Law, Protection of fundamental rights from a multilevel perspective, judicial cooperation in criminal matters, International Criminal Justice, rule of law backsliding, Immigration and Asylum, Artificial Intelligence and Law. About these topics she has numerous publications and she gave courses, seminars and conferences in Spain and in other countries.

  • Francisco Javier Garrido Carrillo. He is and Associate Professor of Procedural Law, UGR. He is leading researcher of Jean Monnet Action 2020, Erasmus-Programme Jean Monnet Activities, ref. 620390-EPP-1-2020 JMO PROJECT on the fight against organized crime. He is also President of the International Network of Research Excellence: Justice, Law, Constitution and Process. His main lines of research are: European Criminal Law, the statute of judges and prosecutors, the fight against organized crime and the application of new technologies to Justices.

  • Stefania Ninatti. She is full Professor of Constitutional law at the University of Milan Bicocca. She is member of the scientific committee of the Bicocca Department of Excellence on Law and plural societies. Her main research interests concern various fields of Italian and European Constitutional Law such as the democratic principle in constitutional law, in comparative public law and in supranational systems; the protection of fundamental rights in multilevel systems and dialogue between courts.

  • Javier Roldán Barbero. He is Full Professor of International Law, and Director of the Department of International Law, University of Granada. He is a recognized jurist at international level. He is an expertise on the external dimension of the European Area of Freedom Security & Justice, the European Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Rule of Law.

  • Filippo Spiezia. He is National Member of Eurojust for Italy (since 2016), ex Vice-President of Eurojust (2017-2020). He has been a member of working groups for the analysis of criminal problems and strategies to be developed at the Council of Europe, European Commission, Eurojust, UNODC (the highest UN body for drug control). He contributed to the drafting of the White paper on organized crime, as Group expert appointed by the Council of Europe. He has been a speaker at numerous International meetings and he is author and/or coauthor of many publications.
